Braised Lemon Chicken
4-6 chicken thighs, bone in skin on
1 small onion
3 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons butter
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Salt & pepper
1 teaspoon dill ( or thyme, oregano, rosemary )
- Heat oil and butter in pan, brown the chicken
- Add onion and seasonings
- Add lemon juice
- Add broth, cover, simmer for 30 minutes.
