Chocolate Chip Layer Cake
3 + ½ cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups brown sugar
1 stick of butter
3 eggs
1 package of chocolate chips
- In a large bowl, sift the dry ingredients
- In a medium, bowl whisk eggs, butter and vanilla
- Add the egg mixture to dry ingredients
- Add milk, stir to a thick batter
- Pour into three greased and floured cake pans
- Set chocolate chips on top of each cake
- Bake for 30 minutes
- Cool, Frost layers with whip cream, or frosting.
