Corn Fritters

  • 2 cups corn
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Coarse salt and ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • vegetable oil, enough to fry them

1.Mix the egg and milk in a small bowl

2.In a large bowl mix flour, cornmeal, baking powder, sugar

3.Add the egg mixture into the flour

4. Stir in the corn and salt & pepper

5. Drop spoonful into hot oil, 3 to 5 minutes
