Grasshopper Brownies

Creme De Menthe Brownies

1 stick unsalted butter, plus more for pan
8 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped

1 cup sugar

3/4 teaspoon salt

3 large eggs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour, (spooned and leveled)

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  1. Melt butter with semisweet chocolate in a double boiler
  2. Whisk in sugar and salt, remove from heat.
  3. Let cool for 5 minutes
  4. Add eggs, one at a time
  5. Stir in flour and cocoa powder
  6. Pour into a buttered baking dish
  7. Bake at 350 for 35 – 40 minutes
  8. Top with creme de menthe flavored whip cream
  9. Drizzle melted chocolate chips over the brownies
