Creme De Menthe Brownies
1 stick unsalted butter, plus more for pan
8 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour, (spooned and leveled)
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- Melt butter with semisweet chocolate in a double boiler
- Whisk in sugar and salt, remove from heat.
- Let cool for 5 minutes
- Add eggs, one at a time
- Stir in flour and cocoa powder
- Pour into a buttered baking dish
- Bake at 350 for 35 – 40 minutes
- Top with creme de menthe flavored whip cream
- Drizzle melted chocolate chips over the brownies
