Homemade granola bars, I like to spice things up, I’m spunky like that. The bonus here is that you control the amount of salt, sugar, and whatnot that goes into your snacks. Sure, store bought nutri- grain bars are convenient, but so is this recipe !
Teaching a class full of preschoolers, I let them choose the cinnamon or the nutmeg. They also get to stir things up with their hands. Sticky fingers, molasses, and even a few mini marshmallows later and they bring home a new favorite snack.
