Growing up in New England there is often a fish tale to be heard. Sittu, my grandmother, so adored going to a restaurant to eat lobster or fancy scallops. One particular evening at a famous local eatery, she announced we could not have dessert there and we needed to hurry on out.
Driving home, my Dad turned to us kids and asked what was that smell? Returning home, we all shuffled around the kitchen table for ice cream, again…what was that smell? Aah, Sittu smiled, reached in her purse, pulled out a napkin, and unwrapped the lobster tails!!
The full recipe for these zingy scallops is under Entrees.
